Sometimes medical school looks like poking a grape stuffed into a raw chicken breast with a tiny syringe filled with water. The physical medicine residents, the pain fellow, and I were practicing muscle and joint injections under ultrasound guidance. (The resident is holding the ultrasound probe cord for me. Hopefully we didn't leave Salmonella on anything.)
