Internship is rarely as clear as this sign. There is plenty of medicine I am learning on the job, whether based on evidence, rules of thumb, or gut feeling, but nothing prepares you for all the little questions (Can the girl with hand foot and mouth disease go to the teen room? Does every diaper from this patient need to be checked for blood? Could you fill out this form for me?). Sometimes I very much wish there were more signs like this one.
